Mga Dapat Malaman ni Juan sa Pagkuha ng Licensya

Ang pagkakaroon po ng pagkakataong makapag maneho dito sa Pilipinas ay hindi po isang karapatan kundi ito po ay matatawad na isang pribiliheyo! At ito po ay pinagtitibay ng Batas ng Pilipinas sa Republic Act No. 4136 at ang Batas Pambansa No. 398

Ang isang Pinoy bago makapag maneho ay kinakailangang kumuha ng Lisensya sa Land Transportation Office (LTO) bilang patunay na siya ay may kakayahang mag-maneho sa kalsada . Kung ikaw ay makakapasa sa pag-susulit ikaw ay makatatangap ng isang dokumento O katibayan na ikaw ay puwede ng mag-maneho. Ang dokumentong ito ay tinatawag na Driver's License. At ito ay mayroong kategorya ang mga sumusunod:

1. PROFESSIONAL DRIVER'S LICENSE. Ang Professional Driver's License ay ipinagkakaloob sa isang driver na kumikita sa pamamagitan ng pagmamaneho ng pam-publikong sasakyan (Taxi, Bus, Jeep, Trycicle at iba pa).

2. NON-PROFESSIONAL DIRVER'S LICENSE. Ang Non-Professional Driver's License ay ipinagkakaloob naman sa isang driver na gumagamit ng isang pribadong sasakyan o sariling sasakyan (Motorsiklo, Van at Kotse).

NOTE:
Bago po tayo makakuha ng mga nasabing Lisensya, kailangan po muna tayong mag apply para sa isang Student Driver's License Permit sa kahit anonbg ahensya O upisina ng Land Transportation Office.


PARA SA STUDENT PERMIT (Criteria and Qualifications)

The STUDENT DRIVER'S PERMIT is issued to an applicant allowing him to learn how to drive a motor vehicle and familiarize himself with the rules of the road.


1. Kinakailangang ikaw ay

  • Sixteen (16) years old
  • Seventeen (17) years old for Non-Professional License
  • Eighteen (18) years old for Professional License and Conductor's License
2. Must be physically and mentally fit to operate a motor vehicle

3. Must not be a drug user or alcoholic

4. Must be able to read and write in Pilipino or English

5. Must be clean, neat and presentable and must apply for the permit personally at any office of the LTO and have with him the following documents:

  • A document of birth for proof that he is at least 16 years old.
  • A birth certificate
  • A joint affidavit by two (2) not related individuals attesting to the age of the applicant
  • SSS identification card
  • Passport
VALIDITY OF STUDENT PERMIT
Ang Student Permit ay magagamit sa loob ng Anim na buwan ( 6 months), simula ng ikaw ay ma-isyuhan.


WHO CAN TEACH A STUDENT DRIVER?
A student driver can only drive a motor vehicle when under the direct supervision of a licensed NON-PROFESSIONAL OR PROFESSIONAL driver. Te licensed driver must be in the vehicle being operated by the student driver and seated on the right seat of the vehicle.

PARA SA NON-PROFESSIONAL LICENSE (Criteria and Qualifications)

1. Must be at least seventeen (17) years old.

2. A Student Driver's Permit has been issued not less than one (1) month from the date of application for a Non-Professional Driver's License.

3. A certificate from an LTO accredited doctor attesting to the following:

  • That the applicant is physically and mentally sound;
  • That the applicant has normal vision and hearing.

4. The applicant must pass a WRITTEN EXAMINATION.

5. The applicant must pass an actual ROAD TEST.

6. An APPLICATION FORM (ADL) filled out by the applicant.

Payment of the following amount:

--- Application Fee- Php. 25.00
--- Computer Fee – 52.80
--- TOTAL – 77.80

--- License Fee – Php.180.00
--- Computer Fee – 52.80
--- TOTAL – 232.80

PARA SA PROFESSIONAL LICENSE (Criteria and Qualifications)

1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.

2. Must be physically and mentally fit.

3. Must not be a drug user or alcoholic.

4. Must be able to read and write in Filipino or English.

5. Must be clean, neat and presentable.

Requirements :

  • Duly accomplished Application Form for Driver’s License.
  • Valid Student Permit (at least five (5) months old / NP – 4 mos. old).
  • Medical Certificate (from an LTO accredited or Government Physician) or valid AFP/PNP organic personnel ID.
  • Negative Drug Test result (from DOH accredited drug testing center)
  • Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN).
  • Clearances
- NBI, Police or Court Clearance or Certificate from Commanding Officer, if a military personnel.
- Must have passed the written and practical examination.

Paymentof the following amount :

--- Application Fee – Php. 25.00
--- Computer Fee – 52.80
--- TOTAL – 77.80

--- License Fee - Php 210.00
--- Computer Fee - Php 52.80
--- TOTAL - Php 262.80
